Safeguarding
All children are precious in the sight of God, and The King’s School, Witney recognises our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils.
We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice. Child protection forms part of our school’s safeguarding responsibilities.
If any parent, staff member, visitor or governor is worried about a child they should discuss their concern as soon as possible with one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL). Their email addresses are firstname.surname@tkswitney.org.uk and the school phone number is 01993 778463.
Keeping my child safe online
Whether it is deciding when your child should have a phone, managing screen time or helping your child to navigate the many risks of the online world, we know that online safety is such a vital issue in today’s society. We hope that these links and resources are helpful to you.
Family Support
All families need additional support at times. If your child is experiencing a problem, we are here to talk to. Early help involves looking at the whole picture – school, home and other communities – to see where support can best be put in place.
